FRED HUME

Fred Hume is the historian of UBC Athletics, a position he has held since 1989. He was instrumental in the establishment in 1993 of the UBC Sports Hall of Fame, and was himself inducted in the “Builder” category in 2011. Fred is an honorary member of UBC’s Big Block Club and in 1999 was awarded the Kay Brearley Award for his service to women’s athletics at UBC.
