Listed below are the names of members of the UBC community who have been interviewed under the auspices of the Legacy Project. Starting in June 2012, many of the interviews were conducted by UBC students attached to Continuing Studies, either through the “Explore” exchange program (students visiting UBC from Québec) or through UBC work-study appointments in Continuing Studies’ language programs. Many of the early interviews were conducted in the Mackenzie Seminar Room of the UBC Library’s Rare Books and Special Collections division located inside the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre; more recently, they have been held in the Legacy Project offices in Ponderosa Annex. Interview subjects are sent a list of questions a few days beforehand to help them prepare their responses. The set questions also help us to structure the interviews and to maintain some element of comparability from one interview to the next.
