Bibliography of the print collection in the Legacy Project Office library

The books listed here are kept in the Legacy Project office, and are either (1) by UBC faculty, staff, or alumni; (2) primarily about UBC as an institution, or  UBC people past and present; or (3) include significant references to UBC and/or the UBC community.  For the most part we are not including journal articles, which are far too numerous to list here.

The somewhat haphazard nature of the collection is to be accounted for by the fact that the books arrived in our office as gifts, were purchased at sales, donated, or somehow liberated themselves from their previous owners and found their way to our shelves. Should you have any books that might have a UBC connection and that you are willing to part with, please consider donating them to the Legacy Collection.

The listing is alphabetical by surname of the principal author or editor. Books without a named author or editor are listed alphabetically by the first word in the title, not including the words “The” or “A”.  On occasion an entry will provide a little information about the author(s) or editor(s), and we hope to add more information along these lines as time goes by. Please let us know if you see any errors, either in the bibliographical entries or in the biographical notes.
